Fall 2018 Dean's List Announced
A total of 1,513 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Fall 2018 semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

Bloomsburg University Speech-Language Pathology students receive White Coats
Twenty-six second-year students in the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology recently held its White Coat ceremony at Rolling Pines Golf Course and Banquet Facility. The White Coat ceremony honors the transition from full-time, in-class work to full-time clinical externship work. The White Coats were presented to the BU students by Shaheen N. Lebanon Valley College welcomed a record-breaking 518 new students this fall, exceeding last year's incoming student group, which was then the largest in the College's history. The fall 2018 class includes an all-time high 473 first-year students and 45 transfers.

Three to Captain RPI Men's Soccer
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athletes Danny Corridan, Dan Graybill and Matt LaBranche have been named captains of the men's soccer team, 17th-year head coach Adam Clinton has announced. One hundred and five Eastern Mennonite University students have been named to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference All-Academic Team, setting a new record of honorees forEMU. A student-athlete must achieve at least a 3.25 grade point average for the year to be considered for an ODAC All-Academic Award. All 16 of EMU's ODAC-sponsored sports were represented on the All-Academic Team.
